After several years of consideration, ESARIS INDUSTRIES has launched an ambitious project in 2023: obtaining UL / C-UL certification for the ELITE by MOBILIS range. This label is an essential key to accessing the North American market, particularly in Canada, and in certain demanding sectors such as aeronautics.
With the support of Magnetek, whose Canadian customers were asking us for this label, we drew up a business plan and identified the potential for tripling the volume of ELITE by MOBILIS systems. The ‘GO’ was given.
Starting in July 2023, we worked for six months with a UL engineer to meet the many technical requirements. Mechanical, electrical and fire tests were carried out between Chicago, Bonn and Illkirch, resulting in the certification of ELITE by MOBILIS mobile electrification rails up to 100A.
Production began in October 2024, with our components being adapted to ensure compliance. In January 2025, the UL inspector validated the production, confirming a key stage in our international development.
On 3 March 2025, all the employees of ESARIS INDUSTRIES site Illkirch gathered under a bright sun to celebrate the achievement of this UL certification. In a friendly and festive atmosphere, the colour yellow, which symbolises energy, success and innovation, took pride of place.
The event was an opportunity to thank all the teams that have contributed to this success story. Between inspiring speeches, moments of sharing and collective pride, this day will remain a highlight in the history of ESARIS INDUSTRIES site Illkirch.
